Soul Eater is a Bleach – esque anime set in the domain of death where Shinigami train at Death Weapon Meister Academy and fend off extraordinary wrongs.

Its distinctive trademark is the living weapons, Demon Scythes, which switch among human and weapon structure to battle for their lords.

A definitive objective of any Shinigami is to reap 99 spirits and one witch’s spirit to transform their weapon into a strong Death Scythe.

The chief characters are the no nonsense Maka, using the grass cutter Soul Eater Evans, the reckless Black Star differentiated by his caring weapon Tsubaki, and the OCD-baffled Death the Kid with his twin guns Patty and Liz.
