Crunchyroll, the popular anime streaming service, has announced the English dub cast for the highly anticipated anime series, “Chainsaw Man,” which is set to premiere on October 11, 2022. The series is an adaptation of the manga of the same name, written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, and is being produced by MAPPA.
The English dub cast for “Chainsaw Man” includes Ryan Colt Levy (known for his work in “My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission” and “Moriarty the Patriot”) as the voice of Denji, Suzie Yeung (known for her work in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” and “Wonder Egg Priority”) as the voice of Makima, Reagan Murdock (known for his work in “Dragon Ball Super” and “Don’t Hurt Me, My Healer!”) as the voice of Aki, and Sarah Wiedenheft (known for her work in “Black Clover,” “Dr. STONE,” and “Dragon Ball Super”) as the voice of Power.
The anime will be simulcast on Crunchyroll from Japan, with subtitles and dubs available in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. The English SimulDub™ will start airing on Crunchyroll at a later date. The additional dubs will include Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and German, with casts to be announced at a later date.
The English dub of “Chainsaw Man” will premiere at New York Comic Con on Friday, October 7, before its official release on Crunchyroll. The anime is being directed by Ryu Nakayama (known for his work on “Vinland Saga” and “Dorohedoro”), with ADR direction by Mike McFarland (known for his work on “Attack on Titan” and “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood”).
Fans of the manga are eagerly anticipating the anime adaptation of “Chainsaw Man,” and Crunchyroll’s announcement of the English dub cast and the new trailer has only served to heighten the excitement.
