Skip the new Demon Slayer movie

Demon Slayer has quickly become one of the most popular anime series worldwide, with a massive following since its initial release in 2019. The series has received critical acclaim for its animation, storyline, and character development, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of its third season.

However, before the third season’s premiere, the series is embarking on a world tour with a feature film called Demon Slayer: To the Swordsmith Village. The film has already been released in Japan, where it has broken box office records, and it is set to be released globally as part of the series’ promotion.

Despite the film’s popularity, there are some reasons why fans may not necessarily need to watch it. For one, the movie is essentially a recap of the Entertainment District arc, with an extended version of the first episode of the Swordsmith Village arc at the end. Therefore, fans who have already seen the anime up until this point may not find much new material in the movie.

Additionally, while the movie does offer some backstory and character development for the main characters, it is not essential to understanding the upcoming third season’s plot. Fans who are more interested in the main storyline can skip the movie and still enjoy the third season without missing out on any critical details.

Overall, while the Demon Slayer movie has been a massive success, fans who have already seen the series up until this point may not necessarily need to watch it to fully enjoy the upcoming third season.
