Gojo vs Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 221 – who will win?

In Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 221, fans of the series were finally treated to the long-awaited battle between Satoru Gojo and Ryomen Sukuna. As the two most powerful characters in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe, their clash had been teased for a long time and readers were eagerly anticipating the outcome.

The battle begins with Gojo being released from the prison realm and coming face to face with Kenjaku and Sukuna. This encounter left readers on the edge of their seats, as they waited to see which of these formidable foes would emerge victorious.

Satoru Gojo is widely regarded as the strongest jujutsu sorcerer in the world. As the current head of the Gojo family, he possesses the rare Six Eyes ability and the Limitless, which render him nearly invincible. Gojo’s mastery of cursed techniques grants him a range of powerful abilities, including Blue, which allows him to create negative matter that draws all other matter towards him, and Red, which repels any type of matter.

Gojo’s Purple technique combines the power of Red and Blue to create an imaginary mass of immense weight. Ryomen Sukuna reigned as the King of Curses during the golden age of sorcery. With his immense power and vast reserves of cursed energy, he posed a great threat to the world. Sorcerers from all around Japan had to gather and seal him in 20 indestructible fingers. Sukuna is very powerful in hand-to-hand combat and possesses an immense reservoir of cursed energy within him. He also possesses a pyrokinetic ability that allows him to surpass even Jogo’s volcanic flames.

In the current arc, Sukuna has taken control of Megumi’s body after departing from Yuji Itadori. This gives him a brand new set of arsenal, including the highly coveted Ten Shadows technique, which is said to be on par with the likes of Six Eyes and Limitless users. Sukuna now has control over the tranquil deer and the Mahoraga. The tranquil deer releases positive energy and helps in healing purposes as well as disrupts the use of cursed energy. On the other hand, Mahoraga is the strongest of all Ten Shadows, as it cannot be injured or killed by using the same technique twice.

Sukuna’s strongest ability is his domain expansion, Malevolent Shrine. Within his domain, he can unleash two techniques: Dismantle, which targets inanimate objects, and Cleave, which can strike anything infused with cursed energy.

Based on all available information, it is difficult to predict the outcome of the impending battle between Gojo and Sukuna. While Gojo is the bearer of powerful abilities such as the Six Eyes and the Limitless, Sukuna has control over Megumi’s body and arsenal of techniques, including the Ten Shadows technique, which is said to be on par with Gojo’s Six Eyes and Limitless.
