Despite Genya not being open to Tanjiro’s attempts at friendship, his weaponry is unique for the story and time period, which could lead to some intriguing combat sequences for fans. Additionally, given Tanjiro’s attempts to forge friendships and connections with Genya and Tokito, the next episode could show development toward those goals for both. Nothing seems to bring warriors together quite like fighting side-by-side against murderous foes.
