As Sumihiko and Tojuro continued running to school, and away from the Shinazugawa siblings, Tojuro tried to convince Sumihiko to join the Kendo club. Although the two make it to school in time, Sumihiko’s mother received a phone call, notifying her of what her son did. As she speaks on the phone, we see Tanjiro’s sword, earrings, and a photo of all those who assisted and survived in the great battle against Muzan, whose defeat brought about the bright future they always hoped for.

It’s a heartwarming and nostalgic scene that pays tribute to all the characters who fought and sacrificed so much for the betterment of the world. The sight of Tanjiro’s sword, earrings, and the photo serves as a reminder of the legacy of all those who came before, and the hope they had for the future.
