In the Dragon Ball universe, Tien is known as one of the most powerful fighters who possesses an extraordinary skill set. In Dragon Ball Super, Tien was given limited screen time, despite winning the 22nd World Tournament. Flying isn’t the only technique that could be taught that would dramatically shift the landscape of Dragon Ball. While Vegeta has learned Goku’s Instant Transmission technique in Dragon Ball Super’s manga, it’s the first time anyone else has been taught that move, which would have helped drastically in several perilous moments throughout the Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super series. However, if everyone in the world of Dragon Ball Super were taught techniques like flying and the use of Instant Transmission from heroes such as Tien, the story would have a hard time maintaining the tension it so often relies on to deliver the moments of triumph that keep fans coming back for more.
