Dragon Ball Super shows renewed rivalry between SSB characters

Bandai, the creators of the Dragon Ball Super Card Game, have recently released details about their upcoming expansion set, Resurgence. The set draws inspiration from Goku and Vegeta’s transformation into Super Saiyan Blue in the anime series Dragon Ball Super. While the official pack art has not yet been revealed, promotional materials indicate that the set will be titled Zenkai Series – Resurgence, and it will be the fourth expansion in the Zenkai Series and the 21st main series Dragon Ball Super Card Game set.

The Resurgence set will include a God Rare card, though the focus of the card is not yet known. However, it has been confirmed that the set will feature the Golden Frieza Saga from Dragon Ball Super. Fans have already been given a sneak peek at some of the Yellow-colored cards in the upcoming set.

One of the most exciting cards revealed so far is the Super Rare SSB Son Goku & SSB Vegeta, Rivalry. This card features Goku and Vegeta standing back to back in their Super Saiyan Blue forms, wearing their outfits from the Golden Frieza Saga. Another preview from the set is the SSB Vegeta, Unceasing Progress card, which shows the iconic character in his Super Saiyan Blue form as well.
