Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fans are excited to hear that the anime’s second season is set to premiere in Japan this October. In anticipation of the upcoming release, Aniplex of America released an English subbed trailer for the season during their special panel at Anime Expo Lite 2021. The trailer showcases the upcoming Entertainment District arc, which is based on the original manga by Koyoharu Gotouge.
Fans of the series have been eagerly awaiting the new season since the first season’s conclusion in 2019, especially since the series’ first movie, Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, broke box office records worldwide last year. The upcoming season will pick up where the first season left off and will follow the continuing adventures of Tanjiro, Nezuko, and the rest of the Demon Slayer Corps.
The Entertainment District arc promises to be just as action-packed and emotional as previous storylines, as the Demon Slayer Corps investigate a series of disappearances in a red-light district. The trailer teases new characters, intense battles, and heartbreaking moments, all set against the stunning animation and haunting soundtrack that the series is known for.
While a specific release date for the English-subbed version of Demon Slayer’s second season has not been announced, fans are eagerly anticipating its arrival and looking forward to continuing the journey with their favorite characters.
