Crunchyroll to stream Demon Slayer Season 3 in India from April 9th

Demon Slayer Season 3 has been a highly anticipated release for anime fans worldwide. Streaming service Crunchyroll announced on April 7, 2023, that they would begin streaming the third season of Demon Slayer in India on April 9, 2023, the same day as its release in Japan.

While the exact time of streaming has yet to be announced, fans can expect the same high-quality animation and storytelling that the previous seasons delivered. MAN WITH A MISSION and milet collaborated to perform the opening theme song “Kizuna no Kiseki,” which promises to set the tone for another exciting season.

The voice actors of the main characters, including Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, will be returning to reprise their roles. Additionally, Kana Hanazawa and Kengo Kawanishi will also return as the voice actors of Kanroji Mitsuri and Muichiri Tokito, respectively.

Ufotable will be in charge of animating the ‘Swordsmith Village Arc,’ and Akira Matsushima will return as character designer for the third installment of the series. Ufotable has been known for its high-quality animation and attention to detail, which has contributed significantly to the series’ success.

The original manga series, written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge, was serialized in Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, with its chapters collected in 23 tankobon volumes. English versions have been published by Viz Media and simultaneously by Shueisha on their Manga Plus platform.

The Demon Slayer franchise has been a massive success, with the first season consisting of twenty-six episodes produced by Ufotable airing in Japan from April to September 2019. The sequel film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, released in October 2020, became the highest-grossing anime film and Japanese film of all time. The second season of the anime series readapting the “Mugen Train” arc seen in the film in seven episodes and covering the “Entertainment District” arc from the manga in eleven episodes aired from October 2021 to February 2022, leaving fans eagerly waiting for the upcoming season.
