Crunchyroll streams Demon Slayer: Mugen Train film in various languages

Crunchyroll has announced that it has started streaming the popular anime film “Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train” on its platform in multiple languages, as well as the English dub of the first season of the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” anime series, titled “Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc.” The streaming service has also provided a list of the countries and territories where users can watch both anime.

The film was also made available on Funimation starting June 22. Both Funimation and Crunchyroll will be streaming the upcoming Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc television anime. The Mugen Train Arc is a seven-episode arc that adapts the film and is set to premiere on October 10, while the Entertainment District Arc will debut on December 5.

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba film was released in Japan in October 2020 and quickly became a box office sensation, topping the charts for 12 consecutive weeks. It was the first film in history to surpass the ¥40 billion ($367 million) mark at the Japanese box office, making it the highest-grossing film ever in the country. It also became the highest-earning film worldwide in 2020 and the first non-Hollywood or non-American film to top the yearly box office worldwide since the beginning of cinema over a century ago.
