On Tuesday, the official English Twitter account for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba franchise announced that Brandon McInnis has been added to the English dub cast of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc anime. McInnis will be voicing the character of Gyutaro in the series. The Entertainment District Arc was first premiered in December 2021 with a one-hour special and is currently ongoing with new episodes debuting weekly until the dubbed season finale streams on May 1. Funimation and Crunchyroll are streaming the English dub version of the anime.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has been a major hit since its debut and has captured the hearts of anime fans worldwide. The anime first premiered in April 2019 and has since been adapted into a feature film, Mugen Train Arc, which aired in October 2021, and the ongoing Entertainment District Arc. Both arcs have been streamed on Funimation and Crunchyroll, and both services are also streaming the English dubbed versions of the series.
The success of Demon Slayer has not stopped there, as Viz Media has announced that it will be licensing the three Demon Slayer light novels, The Flower of Happiness, One-Winged Butterfly, and Signs from the Wind, for official English translation. The light novels were originally published in Jump J Books and were written by Aya Yajima with illustrations by Koyoharu Gotouge. The Flower of Happiness consists of 5 chapters and was published in 2019, One-Winged Butterfly has 6 chapters and was published in 2020, and Signs from the Wind features 5 chapters and was published in 2021.
