Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 3 is arguably one of the most highly anticipated anime releases of the year. This new season is based on the Swordsmith’s arc and follows Tanjiro’s journey to the Swordsmith village. This arc was initially introduced in the hit movie “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Swordsmith Village,” which grossed a worldwide total of $54.4 million.
The first episode of season 3, which is also part of the movie, was released on April 9, and fans are now eagerly anticipating the second episode of the series. In the first episode, we saw Tanjiro embark on a journey to the Swordsmith village to find a new sword while his companions, Nezuko, Inouske, and Zenitsu, were each on their own missions.
The second episode of Demon Slayer season 3 is set to be aired in Japan on April 16, 2023, at 11:15 p.m. and will subsequently be available to watch on Crunchyroll for international fans. It will be released on Eastern Daylight Time at 10:15 am and Indian Standard Time at 7:45 pm on April 16, 2023. The new episode will be released every Sunday, and viewers can watch either the dubbed or subtitled versions of the series.
Predictions for episode 2 suggest that Tanjiro will meet Yorichii, the progenitor of the Demon-Slayer Corps, in the upcoming episode. However, Tanjiro may mistake the fighting model for a real person, as he does not have knowledge of the history of the Demon-Slayer Corps. Yoriichi is an essential part of the Demon Slayer’s history, and hints of a special connection between him and Tanjiro have been dropped throughout the series.
Additionally, episode 2 is expected to show an improvement in Tanjiro’s skills while he spends time practicing with the fighting model. The manga has predicted that this incident will eventually result in the discovery of a 300-year-old hidden sword. The episode will also reintroduce one of the key characters of this season, Mist Hashira, aka Muichiro, and give viewers a glimpse into his dark past.
