On January 27, 2023, Crunchyroll announced on their official website that Erica Lindbeck has joined the English dub cast of My Hero Academia season 6 to voice Lady Nagant. Lady Nagant is a former Pro Hero who becomes an antagonist and seeks to bring down the Pro Hero society. The English dub of My Hero Academia season 6 began airing on October 16, 2023. Along with Lindbeck, the cast includes Christopher Wehkamp as Aizawa, Caitlin Glass as Ashido, Lisa Ortiz as Burnin, Cris George as Death Arms, Mark Stoddard as Doctor, John Burgmeier as Edge Shot, Patrick Seitz as Endeavor, Kyle Hebert as Fatgum, Kate Oxley as Fuyumi, Felecia Angelle as Hagakure, Zeno Robinson as Hawks, Dallas Reid as Honenuki, Justin Briner as Izuku, Kyle Phillips as Kaminari, Clifford Chapin as Katsuki, Justin Cook as Kirishima, Amanda Gish as Komori, Gabe Kunda as Locklock, Jill Harris as Mandalay, Elizabeth Maxwell as Midnight, Brina Palencia as Mineta, Anairis Quiñones as Mirko, Adam Gibbs as Natsuo, Cherami Leigh as Pixie-Bob, Dave Trosko as Present Mic, Bill Butts as Slidin’ Go, J. There are also additional voice actors for the series, including Bradley Gareth, Brianna Roberts, Jeff Johnson, Marisa Duran, Molly Searcy, Nazeeh Tarsha, and Sarah Roach. Colleen Clinkenbeard serves as the ADR Director, Christopher Wehkamp as the Assistant ADR Director, and Jeramey Kraatz as the ADR Script Writer. The mix engineer for the series is Gino Palencia, and the ADR Engineers include Manuel Aragon, Jose Sandoval, Derric Benavides, and Jeremy Woods. The ADR Script Supervisor is Bonny Clinkenbeard.
My Hero Academia Season 6, which began airing on October 1, 2022, is animated by Studio Bones and adapts the war arc from the manga. My Hero Academia is a popular manga series written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, and as of February 2022, its chapters have been collected into 33 tankōbon volumes. The manga has several spin-off series, including My Hero Academia: Smash!!, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, and My Hero Academia: Team-Up Missions.
The TV anime adaptation of the manga was produced by Studio Bones, with the first season airing in Japan from April to June 2016. The second season aired from April to September 2017, followed by the third season from April to September 2018, the fourth season from October 2019 to April 2020, and the fifth season from March to September 2021. The franchise has also released three animated films, titled My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, and My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission respectively. Legendary Entertainment is also planning a live-action film adaptation of the series. As of January 2022, the manga has sold over 65 million copies worldwide.
