The anime premiered on October 1 and is expected to run for two continuous cours (a quarter of a year), resulting in a total of 25 episodes. My Hero Academia’s first 13-episode season premiered in April 2016, followed by a 25-episode second season in April 2017, and a 25-episode third season in April 2018. The fourth season premiered in Japan in October 2019 and aired for 25 episodes.
