Fullmetal Alchemist creator’s new manga, Daemons of The Shadow Realm, is now available in English

Daemons of the Shadow Realm, the latest work by Fullmetal Alchemist creator Hiromu Arakawa, was announced in July 2021 and began serialization in Japan under the title Yomi no Tsugai in the same year. The manga’s first print volume was released in June 2022, and it will now be released in both trade paperback and digital formats in the United States on April 25, 2023.

Although Fullmetal Alchemist remains Arakawa’s most well-known and beloved work, the mangaka has also written several other critically acclaimed series. One of these is Silver Spoon, which concluded in 2019 and diverged from the high-fantasy action of Fullmetal Alchemist in favor of a more laid-back slice-of-life feel. Another notable work by Arakawa is The Heroic Legend of Arslan, a manga adaptation of a popular series of novels that she has been working on since 2013. Despite the success and popularity of Fullmetal Alchemist, Arakawa has proven to be a versatile and talented creator who is capable of producing engaging and enjoyable works in a variety of genres.
