Will Demon Slayer Season 3 be on Disney Plus?

The creator of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is the Japanese manga author and artist Koyoharu Gotouge. The manga has been compiled into 23 tankobon volumes and was published in serial form in Shueisha’s weekly manga publication Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020. The manga has been highly popular with readers, and the anime adaptation has only added to its immense popularity.

As the first episode of season 3 received positive reviews worldwide, fans are eagerly waiting for the second episode to arrive. However, some fans are left wondering where they can watch the new season of Demon Slayer. Some are confused about whether the new season will be available on Disney+. While Disney+ Japan recently announced that fans can watch the new season of Demon Slayer on their platform, it is only available to viewers in Japan.

For viewers outside Japan, they can catch the new season by subscribing to streaming platforms like Crunchyroll or Netflix. Both platforms will offer both subbed and dubbed versions of the anime. While the dubbed version may take some time to arrive on the platform, the subbed version of the episode will be available at the same time as it releases on TV.

However, viewers streaming on Netflix will have to wait an additional day longer than those watching on TV or Crunchyroll since the platform uploads new episodes only on Monday. Despite this delay, fans remain highly enthusiastic about the latest installment of the highly anticipated anime.

In season 3, viewers will follow Tanjiro’s journey just a few days after the end of the Entertainment District arc. As Tanjiro recovers from his previous battle, he sets out on a quest to the renowned town of swordsmiths in search of a replacement for his sword, as seen in the first episode that premiered on April 9, 2023.

There, Tanjiro meets Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira, and Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira. During his stay in the village, Tanjiro undergoes training to become stronger. However, Muzan is not done with his retaliation for the murders of two Upper Moons in season 2, Daki, and Gyutaro.

In the upcoming episodes, Hantengu, Upper Moon 4, and Gyokko, Upper Moon 5, two of the strongest Twelve Kizuki members, will conduct a full-scale assault on the Swordsmith village. It will be up to Tanjiro and the Hashiras to thwart the onslaught and protect the Swordsmith Village.

The second episode of Demon Slayer season 3 is scheduled to be released on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at 11:15 pm JST (10:15 am ET). Fans can’t wait to see what happens next in the highly anticipated anime series.
