MAN WITH A MISSION and MILET perform Demon Slayer opening

MAN WITH A MISSION, a popular rock band from Japan, and singer-songwriter MILET have collaborated on a brand new single called “Kizuna No Kiseki.” The song is the opening track for the latest season of the popular anime series “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Swordsmith Village Arc” and has been released via Milan Records/Sony Music.

“Kizuna No Kiseki” is a powerful pop-rock track sung in Japanese, and the two artists have also collaborated on another song called “Koi Kogare,” which will close the new series on April 17th. Jean-Ken Johnny, MAN WITH A MISSION’s guitarist, vocalist, and rapper, said that they were “honored to be part of the opening track for this extraordinary work” and that they hope fans will enjoy the song’s miraculous story and the bonds between the characters.

MILET also expressed her excitement about singing for “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -Swordsmith Village Arc” and working with MAN WITH A MISSION. She said that she hopes to support the popular anime series, which is loved around the world, with their collaboration.

Yuki Kajiura, who has been creating the ending theme songs for the anime “Demon Slayer” series, also joined the project. While MILET sings with MAN WITH A MISSION playing the sound, the band and Yuki Kajiura made the final touches of the ending theme song.

MAN WITH A MISSION is known as one of the most successful rock bands in Asia today, with a unique image of being half-man, half-wolf. The band consists of Tokyo Tanaka (vocals), Jean-Ken Johnny (guitar, vocals, rap), Kamikaze Boy (bass), DJ Santa Monica (DJ), and Spear Rib (drums). They regularly sell out arenas across their homeland and have also completed sold-out headline tours of the UK, Europe, and the US. MILET, on the other hand, is a relatively new artist who debuted from a major label in Japan in 2019. Her debut single, “inside you,” produced by Toru (ONE OK ROCK), reached number one on 11 music streaming sites. Her first album, “eyes,” was released in June 2020, and it debuted at number one on the Oricon weekly album chart and Oricon weekly digital album chart. MILET performed at the Closing Ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in August 2021, and she was also selected to appear in the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen (Red-White Song Festival) for three consecutive years.
