Exploring the “Love Breathing” in Demon Slayer

“Love Breathing” is a unique breathing form in the world of “Demon Slayer”. This style was created by Mitsuri, the “Love Hashira”, who is known for her unique fighting style. “Demon Slayer” features various breathing forms that demon slayers use to match the power of the demons they hunt. These forms were originally derived from the Sun Breathing technique and later developed into different elemental forms. Different demon slayers have further refined these techniques and passed them down to the next generation.

While some breathing forms in “Demon Slayer” are popular and used by many, there are some unique techniques that are only used by a single person. The Love Breathing style is one of those forms, which is derived from Flame Breathing and was developed by Mitsuri to complement her unique fighting style.

Mitsuri is a physically strong person with very dense muscles, which allows her to be flexible and agile while delivering powerful attacks. Her muscles are said to be eight times denser than those of a regular person, making her one of the physically strongest Hashira despite her smaller size. Because of her unique body composition, it is difficult for others to take advantage of the breathing forms utilized by Love Breathing.

The Love Breathing style is unique in that it is not an elemental form but is based on emotions. Mitsuri originally trained under Rengoku to learn Flame Breathing and then developed her own unique style of Love Breathing from those lessons. This breathing style focuses on mid to long-ranged attacks from a whip-like weapon that Mitsuri uses.

There are a total of six known forms of Love Breathing, each created by Mitsuri. All of these forms are unique to the user who would need to possess a whip-like nichirin blade and physical strength and agility similar to Mitsuri. The first form is called “Shivers of First Love”, which involves the user rushing forward and whipping their opponent with wide yet intricate slashes to wrap around and through the target. The second form is called “Love Pangs” and involves releasing many quick, powerful whip attacks closely around the user. The third form is called “Catlove Shower”, which involves the user leaping forward and releasing many wide-arcing whip attacks down towards their enemy. The fifth form is called “Swaying Love, Wildclaw”, which involves the user summersaulting backward and releasing large arcing whip attacks that wrap around the enemy. Finally, the sixth form is called “Cat-Legged Winds of Love”, which involves the user twirling upside down in the air, spinning and slashing the whip, extending it, and retracting the weapon throughout each quick attack.

Interestingly, the manga for “Demon Slayer” has been finished, and throughout the series, the fourth form of Love Breathing was never shown or mentioned, leaving this style with only five forms known out of six.
